Our client wanted to transform their standard bathroom into a bold, contemporary retreat that would stand the test of time. The vision centred around a moody, sophisticated palette, which we achieved by anchoring the room in large-format, grey stone-effect tiles.
By wrapping these textured tiles across the floor and up the walls, we created a seamless and immersive foundation. We then intentionally contrasted this dramatic grey base with a crisp white paneled ceiling and a bright white shower tray, ensuring the finished space feels perfectly balanced, bright, and open.
To maximize the sleek aesthetic, we installed a spacious walk-in shower featuring a minimalist glass screen with a matte black frame. This ties in perfectly with the matching black Triton electric shower, black showerhead, and the custom-built shower niche, which we finished with a black trim and glass shelving for practical, stylish storage.
We maintained clean lines throughout the rest of the room by building a bespoke half-wall to conceal the toilet cistern, creating a handy display ledge in the process. The space is completed by a floating black two-drawer vanity unit and a sleek black mixer tap. Above it, a wide, softly rounded backlit mirror casts a warm, inviting glow that softens the dark grey tiles and adds incredible depth to the room.
By balancing dramatic grey textures with matte black hardware and crisp white contrasts, we delivered a masterclass in modern bathroom design.
